Tree Through the Seasons: Summer Storytime

Trees transforming from green leaves to an explosion of color to bare branches and back again is one of the most concrete symbols of the change of the seasons. Celebrate the seasons and do a basic nature exploration with this series of story times. The Seasonal Tree Storytime series started with the Fall Storytime, the Winter Storytime, then Spring Storytime. You can hop in at any time. The idea is just a one season a month, celebrating the season you are in. The last in the series is Summer. Below are story time read aloud and song recommendations for a Summer Tree Storytime. Written by Carter Higgins Illustrations by Emily Hughes This is written with a lyrical sense of adventure, but it is the soft illustrations that I love most. A timeless story. Find Online
