Tree Through the Seasons: Spring Storytime

Spring Tree Storytime from My Storytime Corner

Trees transforming from green leaves to an explosion of color to bare branches and back again is one of the most concrete symbols of the change of the seasons. Celebrate the seasons and do a basic nature exploration with this series of story times.

The Seasonal Tree Storytime series started with the Fall Storytime, then the Winter Storytime. You can hop in at any time. The idea is just a one season a month, celebrating the season you are in.

Now we are moving into Spring. Below are story time read aloud and song recommendations for a Spring Tree Storytime. I also have some additional ideas linked at the end.

Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring

by Kenard Pak

This book beautifully captures the change in seasons. The words read like a conversation between children and nature as the season gradually shifts around them. What I love most about this whole series however is that the illustrations perfectly capture the world filling with color and energy as the seasons shift.
